Why was this tagged as Fake News?
Most of the time, your friends don’t even read the posts that you like or share; they just skim the headline and description, then click “like” and/or make an encouraging comment. This time, one of your friends probably noticed that the headline or description seemed a little off and took the time to carefully read the article and check whether its headline and contents matched the documented facts.

Don’t take it personally - almost no one has the time to fact-check every article they see.

If you would like to help stop fake news, the next time you see an article with a headline or description that seems too sensational to believe, check its facts, comment a link to the facts with the tag #stopfakenews, and report it to Facebook.
